Pat Pine, RDH, COM is a national and international speaker with extensive experience wearing a variety of clinical and non-clinical dental hats. Her passion for safety and infection prevention has convalesced into a finely tuned practice policy program. She has been speaking on OSHA and infection prevention for the last 25 years, and has established a one-of-a-kind OSHA Training Boot Camp.
Pat’s latest professional niche is Orofacial Myology. Switching professional gears, Pat has advanced her knowledge to become a Certified Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist. She sees much overlap between the domains of keeping patients healthy while maintaining their oral muscles in harmony.
Having discovered that her own son suffered from orofacial disorders, her professional scope evolved to include providing therapy to children in order to lead them to a healthier lifestyle.
Pat’s speaking engagements are known for their interactivity with the audience. While everyone has their own learning style, she has found active participation to be a powerful agent in getting people to understand the benefits of Myofunctional Therapy. There’s always a healthy element of fun as well!
